Interview Venues
The selection process will be carried out at EIL offices in Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Vadodara, applicable to all three position codes (A, B and C). The exact date, time, and venue will be communicated individually to eligible, registered candidates.

EIL Associate Engineer Remuneration 2026

Consolidated monthly remuneration, inclusive of HRA and PF.

Selection Process :
There is no written test. Selection is through screening followed by a Personal Interview.
On the day of the interview, applications and certificates are first screened to confirm eligibility for the post applied.
Only candidates meeting the eligibility requirements in all respects proceed to the Personal Interview.

Depending on the number of candidates, interviews may run until 8:00 PM on the same day, and may continue the next day if required – candidates must make their own stay arrangements in such cases.
Furnishing wrong or false information is a ground for disqualification; EIL will not be responsible for any resulting disqualification.
The selected candidate will be allowed to join only if found medically fit.

Read all instructions on the website carefully before proceeding.
Fill in the online form with correct details. Round the percentage of marks down to the nearest whole number (e.g., 60.9% → 60), and round CGPA down to one decimal (e.g., 6.95 → 6.9).
Keep scanned copies ready before starting registration: a recent passport-size colour photograph (.jpg/.jpeg, max 75 KB) and signature (.jpg/.jpeg, max 25 KB).
Complete registration between 25 August 2026 and 08 September 2026 (23:59 hrs).
You do not need to send a printout by post. Instead, take a printout of the registered application form (6 copies), affix a colour photograph, and bring these copies to the walk-in interview.
Documents Required :
6 copies of the duly filled, submitted online application form with a recent colour photograph affixed
Valid photo ID issued by Govt. of India (Driving Licence/PAN Card/Passport/Voter ID/Aadhaar Card)
Date of Birth proof: Matriculation/Class X certificate or Birth Certificate
Certificates of educational qualifications: Matriculation/Class X/HSC/Degree/PG mark sheets and passing certificates of all semesters/years
Proof of the norms adopted by your University/Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/CPI or letter grade to percentage (a standard conversion table is used if this proof is unavailable – see note below)
Experience certificates (original) for all declared experience, clearly showing date of joining, date of separation, and nature of work handled
On demand: offer letter, confirmation order, pay slips, PF statement, ESI card, bank statement, etc., to substantiate employment (especially for candidates presently employed)
SC/ST certificate (original, prescribed format), if applicable
Valid OBC (NCL) certificate (original, Government of India format), if applicable
Valid EWS certificate (original, prescribed format), if applicable
Disability certificate (original, prescribed format), if applicable
Discharge Certificate, undertaking, and proforma for Ex-Servicemen (prescribed format), if applicable

Important Conditions
The hiring is purely on a fixed-term basis, initially for 2 years, extendable if required until completion of the assignment, subject to satisfactory performance, for a maximum of 3 years from the initial date of joining.
Unless terminated earlier, the engagement automatically ends on expiry of the fixed term; no claim for regular appointment in EIL will be entertained.
Candidates must be prepared to work anywhere in India and abroad, depending on requirement.
Candidates must make their own arrangements for travel and stay for the interview; no allowances will be paid for this.
The registered email address must remain valid/functional for at least 24 months from the date of submission; all correspondence, including selection intimation, is sent via registered email only.
Any change, clarification, or corrigendum to the advertisement will be published only on www.engineersindia.com; no separate press notification will be issued.
Any dispute arising from this recruitment is subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Delhi.
EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or the selection process at any stage, without assigning any reason.
