University of Kashmir Interview Schedule 2026

The University of Kashmir, Srinagar, through the Office of the Dean, School of Engineering, has issued an Interview Notice for eligible applicants who applied for the posts of Contractual Assistant Professor for the academic session 2025–26.

The interviews will be conducted for the disciplines of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Engineering Physics at the Institute of Technology, Zakura Campus and North Campus, Delina, Baramulla.

Assistant Professor Interview Schedule

Eligible candidates are required to appear for the interview as per the following schedule:

1. Electronics & Communication Engineering

Position: Contractual Assistant Professor

Venue: Zakura Campus

Date: 10 September 2026

Time: 10:30 AM

2. Computer Science & Engineering

Position: Contractual Assistant Professor

Venue: Zakura Campus

Date: 10 September 2026

Time: 11:15 AM

3. Engineering Physics

Position: Contractual Assistant Professor

Venue: Zakura Campus

Date: 10 September 2026

Time: 12:00 Noon

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates appearing for the interview must bring their original academic and other relevant credentials/documents with them.

Applicants are also required to report at the interview venue one hour before the scheduled interview time for verification of their credentials.

The University has clarified that no TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview. Further, individual call letters will not be issued separately for the interview.

The interviews will be conducted at the Office Chamber of the Dean, School of Engineering, University of Kashmir, Zakura Campus.
