Government Dental College & Hospital, Shireen Bagh, Srinagar has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Registrar in the Department of Anaesthesiology. The recruitment is being conducted under Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 20 June 2024.

Candidates who have appeared in the final examination of the relevant postgraduate course may also apply, subject to submission of the required qualification documents within the prescribed period.
The advertisement specifies that the applicant should have MBBS and MD/Diploma in Anaesthesia recognized by the Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission (NMC).
Maximum Age Limit
The maximum age for non-service candidates is 50 years at the time of submission of the application.
In-service doctors may participate in the selection process only after obtaining the required prior permission from the Administrative Department. Their applications must be forwarded through the proper channel.

Candidates who have appeared in the final examination of the postgraduate course are required to submit an undertaking duly attested by a 1st Class Magistrate, confirming that they have appeared in the examination and will submit the requisite qualification documents within 21 days from the date of issuance of the selection list.
Important Conditions
The selection will be made in accordance with Government Orders No. 382-JK(HME) of 2024 and 383-JK(HME) of 2024, both dated 20 June 2024.
The tenure of the selected candidate will be governed by the applicable Government rules and will not exceed three years.
Candidates who have already completed their tenure or are working as Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator after postgraduate qualification in the relevant discipline in an institution recognized/approved by the Dental Council of India/National Dental Commission are not required to apply.
Candidates who were previously appointed as Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor but did not complete the required tenure may not be considered.
Any false declaration or suppression of material information can result in cancellation of selection from the beginning and disciplinary/legal action as applicable.
Selected candidates will also be required to execute an agreement stating that they will not leave the department before completion of the required tenure. In case of abandonment/termination after six months, one month’s prior notice will be required from either side, failing which the salary for one month may be withheld as per the terms mentioned in the advertisement.
