The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Kashmir has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the contractual engagement of Programme Managers at the Centre for Good Governance & Policy Analysis (CGGPA). According to the official advertisement, a total of 4 Programme Manager posts are available.

In addition to the educational qualification, candidates are required to have a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
The experience should be in areas such as government agencies, consulting assignments, project implementation, governance projects, engineering and infrastructure projects, digital transformation initiatives or consulting projects in think tanks.
Manager Salary
Selected candidates for the Programme Manager position will be offered a consolidated remuneration of ₹47,000 per month.
The position is contractual and does not constitute a regular appointment in the University.
Tenure
The engagement will initially be made for six months.
The contract may be extended depending on the requirements of CGGPA and the satisfactory performance of the selected candidate. Extension will remain subject to approval from the competent authority.

Selection Process
The selection process will be based on academic merit, relevant experience and performance in the personal interview.
The selection criteria carry a total of 100 marks.
Candidates will receive up to 60 marks for their prescribed postgraduate qualification. The marks will be calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the percentage obtained in the postgraduate degree.
Relevant experience carries 20 marks. The notification provides two marks for each completed year of relevant experience, subject to a maximum of 20 marks. Proportionate marks may be awarded for experience of less than one year, provided the experience is not below six months.
The personal interview carries 20 marks and will assess the candidate’s performance before the Selection Committee.
Thus, the overall selection is based on:
Postgraduate Qualification – 60 marks
Relevant Experience – 20 marks
Personal Interview – 20 marks
Total – 100 marks
If the number of eligible applicants is large, candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of their combined marks in postgraduate qualification and relevant experience.
Important Terms and Conditions
The engagement is purely contractual and will not provide the selected candidates with any right to claim regular or temporary appointment or continuation of the arrangement.
The prescribed qualification and experience will be considered as on the last date of submission of the application. Only relevant experience supported by certificates issued by the concerned organization or institution will be considered.
Selected candidates may be assigned duties and responsibilities by CGGPA from time to time. Candidates will also be required to produce their original certificates and documents during the interview or at the time of verification.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, modify or withdraw the advertisement, amend its provisions or cancel the selection process at any stage.

Candidates holding a postgraduate degree from a foreign university are required to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, failing which their candidature may not be considered.
Notice Period
A selected candidate who intends to resign from the engagement will be required to provide one month’s advance notice or one month’s salary in lieu of the notice period.
The University may also terminate the contractual engagement in cases of unsatisfactory performance or other exigencies.
