The Department of Civil Engineering, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), Tulmulla, Ganderbal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an AICTE-sponsored research project.
The project is titled “Development of Fire-Resistant Sustainable Concrete using 100% Recycled Waste Materials for Infrastructure Resilience.” The position is purely contractual and will remain co-terminus with the project.

Desirable Qualification
GATE-qualified candidates will be preferred as a desirable qualification.
Salary
The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a consolidated salary of ₹31,000 per month.
The advertisement states that the honorarium will be consolidated and no other allowances will be admissible.
Duration of JRF Engagement
The duration of the project position is 3 years. The appointment is purely contractual and will continue only for the duration of the project.
The selected candidate will also be given an opportunity to register for a PhD at Central University of Kashmir, subject to the applicable university norms.
