Revenue Department Jammu Division Tentative Seniority List

NOTIFICATION NO. DIVCOMJMU (ESTT) 21 of 2026 DATED: 29-09-2026

Whereas, vide notification No. DIVCOMJMU(ESTT) 24 of 2024 dated 29.10.2024, a final seniority list of Head Assistant has been issued and circulated accordingly; and

Whereas, since the issuance of aforesaid seniority list, this office has convened the DLDPC meeting on 18.11.2024, in which 02 Head Assistants (namely Samer Singh and Qasim Hussain) have been promoted as Section Officer and 04 Sr. Assistants (namely Ram Nath Sharma, Ram Chand, Irshad Ahmed and Khursheed Ahmed Batt) have been promoted as Head Assistants. Moreover, 01 Head Assistant (namely Sham Lal) and 03 newly promoted Head Assistants (namely Ram Nath Sharma, Ram Chand & Irshad Ahmed) have been retired from Government Services.

Therefore, after the addition & deletion of newly promoted/retired incumbents, a tentative seniority list of Head Assistants of Revenue Department (Divisional Cadre) Jammu Division as it stood on 01.09.2026, forming annexure -“A” to this notification is hereby circulated among all the Head Assistant of Divisional Cadre Jammu for their information. The position assigned in the list is subject to outcome of writ petition, if any, pending in any competent court.

In case any official(s) feel aggrieved with the position, qualification, date of birth & category assigned to him, he is entitled to file a review petition, as per the relevant provisions of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956. The review petitions, if any, containing facts, as have not been considered or as have come to light now and which have a material bearing on the issue of determination of seniority, should reach this office within a period of one month from the date of issuance of this notice.

The date(s) of birth and category recorded in the list shall not be taken as authentic, but shall be subject to verification with Service Book / Educational certificate/DOB/Category certificate issued by the concerned/competent authority.
