IUST Recruitment Interview Notice 2026
The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir, has issued an interview notice for the engagement of one Project Assistant (PA) under a JKST&IC-funded research project. The notice has been issued with reference to Advertisement Notice No. IUST/DoFT/Project/26/61 dated 04 August 2026.
The selected Project Assistant will be engaged for the research project titled “Microplastic Contamination in the Packaged Food Products of Kashmir: Quantitative Assessment, Migration Dynamics and Simulation Studies.”

The interview is being conducted for one Project Assistant position. All eligible candidates whose names are included in the enclosed list have been directed to appear for the interview according to the schedule mentioned in the notice.

Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates appearing for the interview must report to the venue as instructed and carry all necessary documents.
Applicants are required to bring original certificates and testimonials supporting their educational qualifications, experience and other claims made in their applications. Candidates must also carry one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
A valid photo identity proof is also mandatory for candidates appearing for the interview.
No TA/DA
Candidates should note that no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
Cancellation of Candidature
The candidature of a candidate may be cancelled at any stage if any information provided in the application is found to be incorrect. Candidature may also be cancelled if the candidate fails to produce the required original documents at the time of verification.
Nature of Engagement
The engagement of the Project Assistant is purely temporary and will remain co-terminus with the project. The engagement will be governed by the rules and guidelines of IUST as well as those of the concerned funding agency.
