Kulgam Encounter: One militant killed, searches on

KULGAM: A militant was killed in a gunfight that ensued between militants and government forces in the Munand area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday morning.

Official sources told GNS that one militant has been killed, however, his identity couldn’t be established as of now. Meanwhile searches at gunfight site are still going on.

The operation is being carried out by a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF after they received specific input this morning about the presence of some militants in the area.
