Vacancy Details :

Vacancies are distributed across UR, SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and EWS categories. In addition to category-wise reservation, 20 posts (including 10 backlog posts) are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per Government guidelines, and 38 posts are horizontally reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) as per Government guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of online application (10-06-2026). Qualifications must be from Universities or Institutes recognized/accredited by UGC/AICTE/NCVT/NCVET/SCTE&VT set up by Central/State Government. Only full-time qualifications will be considered. ITI/Diploma/B.Sc. in the specific branch/subjects as mentioned against respective posts will be considered as eligible qualifications; ITI/Diploma/B.Sc. in other branches will not be considered. No claim of possession of equivalent qualifications will be entertained.

3	Jr. Foreman (Mines)	Diploma in Mining/Mining Engineering with valid Mining Foreman Certificate of Competency (Restricted to Opencast Metalliferous Mines) being issued by DGMS.
4	Jr. Foreman (Electrical)	Diploma in Electrical Engineering (full time regular course) from a recognized University/Institution, plus valid Supervisory Certificate of Competency (M.V/H.T/E.H.T) issued by the Electrical Licensing Board, Odisha covering Mining installations.**
5	SUPT(JOT)-Operator & Operator Gr. III	10th with ITI (NCVT/NCVET) in Electronics Mechanic/Technician Mechatronics/Electrician/Instrumentation/Instrument Mechanic/Fitter Trade of 2 years duration, along with apprenticeship certificate.
7 & 8	SUPT(JOT)-Fitter & Technician (Fitter) Gr. III	10th with ITI (NCVT/NCVET) in Fitter Trade of 2 years duration, along with apprenticeship certificate.

If the Supervisory Certificate of Competency (M.V/H.T/E.H.T) is granted by any other Electrical Licensing Board, the candidate must get it endorsed for validity from the Electrical Licensing Board of Odisha as per the Electrical Licensing Board Regulation, Odisha, 2014, failing which his service will not be confirmed.

Age Limit

Age is calculated as on the last date of online application submission (10-06-2026). Upper age limit is relaxable for various categories. The maximum upper age limit including all relaxations shall not exceed 56 years. The relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) is subject to availability of vacancy for the particular category.

Additional relaxations: Ex-Servicemen and children/family members of those who died in the 1984 riots will get relaxation as per Government of India directives.

Application Fee

Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Fee can be paid through dedicated bank account, net banking, debit card, or UPI only. Fee shall not be collected by any other mode. Candidates are advised to verify their eligibility before paying the fee. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Land Ousted candidates, and internal candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process :

The selection process consists of Computer Based Test (CBT) and/or Trade Test, followed by Document Verification and Pre-employment Medical Examination (PEME). For posts at Sl. No. 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12 of the vacancy table, selection will be based on CBT only. For posts at Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 13, selection will be made through both CBT and Trade Test, with a weightage of 60% for CBT and 40% for Trade Test. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. CBT will be conducted in English and Hindi only.

How to Apply for NALCO Non-Executive Recruitment 2026

Applications must be submitted online only through the official NALCO website https://www.nalcoindia.com. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected. The online application is a 2-step process –

Step-I: Registration and profile creation

Step-II: Login with credentials, fill application form, upload documents, and make online payment of fee (if applicable). Candidates must carefully furnish all correct details as no change/edit will be allowed after submission. A candidate is allowed to apply for only one post; if multiple applications are submitted for a single post, the latest application will be considered and the rest rejected. If a candidate applies for multiple posts, the candidature will be summarily rejected. Before applying online, candidates must scan and keep ready: passport-size photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm, 20–50 KB), signature (blue/black ink, 10–20 KB), left thumb impression, hand-written declaration, and all relevant certificates.

Important Instructions :

Only full-time qualifications from recognized institutes will be considered; ITI/Diploma/B.Sc. must be in the specific branch/trade prescribed for the post.

All qualifications and experience must have been acquired on or before the closing date of application (10-06-2026).

OBC (NCL) certificate must be issued on or after 01-04-2026 (Central List OBC only – State Government OBC lists are not followed).

EWS Income & Asset Certificate must be issued on or after 01-04-2026 based on FY 2025-26 income.

PwBD candidates must possess a Disability Certificate certifying minimum 40% disability issued as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017. Only permanent (non-temporary) disabilities are eligible for reservation and age relaxation.

Land Ousted candidates whose lands have been acquired for the NALCO project at Damanjodi must upload a valid Employment Preference Certificate – maximum age is 40 years as on 10-06-2026.

Employees of PSUs/Government organizations must apply through proper channel and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of document verification.

Candidates working in PSUs/Government organizations who fail to produce NOC will not be considered for appointment; their application will be subject to submission of original release order.

Application fee once paid shall neither be refunded under any circumstances nor held in reserve for any other recruitment or selection.

No documents/certificates and application forms are required to be sent by post.

Signature / hand written declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
