Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) for appointment to Group ‘A’ medical positions in the Central Armed Police Forces, including BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

A total of 282 vacancies are available across the following categories:
1. Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command)
UR/General: 04
OBC: 01
Total: 05 vacancies
Pay Scale: Level-12, ₹78,800–₹2,09,200 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
2. Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant)
UR/General: 55
SC: 27
ST: 09
OBC: 51
EWS: 20
NCC J&K Hiring 2026
Total: 162 vacancies
Pay Scale: Level-11, ₹67,700–₹2,08,700 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
3. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant)
UR/General: 12
SC: 23
ST: 18
OBC: 32
EWS: 30
Total: 115 vacancies
Pay Scale: Level-10, ₹56,100–₹1,77,500 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Total Vacancies: 282
Important Conditions
10% of the vacancies in the rank of Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) are reserved for Ex-Servicemen. If these reserved vacancies remain unfilled due to the non-availability of eligible or qualified candidates, they will be filled by other eligible candidates.
The total number of vacancies, including backlog vacancies, is subject to change without prior notice.
Application Fee
₹400 for male candidates belonging to the UR/General, OBC and EWS categories.
No application fee is required from:

Ex-Servicemen
SC candidates
ST candidates

Applications will be accepted only through online mode through the official ITBP recruitment portal.
Candidates are required to upload a clear and legible photograph, scanned signature, MBBS or equivalent qualification certificate, specialized qualification certificate issued by a recognized university, and registration certificate issued by MCI/NMC/State Medical Council while filling in their profile details.
