Aadhaar Supervisor/Operator Recruitment 2026 – Apply
Post Name : Aadhaar Supervisor / Operator – District
Total Vacancies : 36
What Is an Aadhaar Seva Kendra and Why Does This Role Matter?
Before jumping to the eligibility details, it helps to understand what you are actually applying for. Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) are dedicated centers set up by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) across the country where residents can enroll for Aadhaar, update their biometric and demographic information, and avail other Aadhaar-related services.
CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd, a Special Purpose Vehicle under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), operates many of these centers as part of its Digital India mandate. The Aadhaar Supervisor oversees the operations at the ASK and manages operators, while the Aadhaar Operator directly handles resident-facing Aadhaar enrolment and update tasks under UIDAI guidelines.
This is a frontline government service delivery role – one that directly impacts how millions of Indians access identity-linked benefits and services.

Who Is Eligible to Apply? Full Eligibility Criteria Explained
The eligibility requirements for this CSC recruitment are deliberately inclusive, targeting candidates from smaller towns and districts who are already part of the Digital India ecosystem. Here is every condition you need to satisfy.
Age Requirement
Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit specified in the notification, making this position accessible to a wider demographic including older candidates seeking re-employment.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:
Option 1 – Class 12 Pass Intermediate / Senior Secondary certificate from a recognized board.
Option 2 – Matriculation + ITI Class 10 (Matriculation) pass followed by a 2-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in any trade.
Option 3 – Matriculation + Polytechnic Diploma Class 10 (Matriculation) pass followed by a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma from a recognized institution.
Mandatory Certification – UIDAI Aadhaar Operator/Supervisor Certificate
This is the most critical eligibility condition and the one most candidates miss. You must hold a valid Aadhaar Operator or Supervisor Certificate issued by a Testing & Certifying Agency authorized by UIDAI for delivering Aadhaar services.
There are two ways to obtain this certification:
Path 1 – Aadhaar Supervisor Exam: You can take the Aadhaar Supervisor exam through the UIDAI exam portal. When you apply, an authorization request is sent to the State Team. After their approval, you can appear for the exam at: https://uidai.dexitglobalexams.com/UIDAI/LoginAction.action
Path 2 – Aadhaar LMS Certification: Once your LMS (Learning Management System) ID and password are created and approved, you can appear for the LMS Certification through: https://e-learning.uidai.gov.in
Basic Computer Skills
Candidates must have foundational computer proficiency. This is essential given that all Aadhaar enrolment and update operations are conducted on dedicated UIDAI software.
Who Cannot Apply
VLEs (Village Level Entrepreneurs) are explicitly not eligible to apply for this position. This exclusion is clearly stated in all the CSC job postings for this recruitment.
Remuneration: What Will You Earn?
The salary for CSC Aadhaar Supervisor/Operator positions is benchmarked against the minimum wages for semi-skilled manpower as notified by the respective state government. This means the actual take-home pay will vary depending on the state where you are posted.
Since each state government periodically revises minimum wage notifications, candidates should check the current semi-skilled minimum wage applicable in their state to understand the exact compensation they can expect. The contract is for 1 year, after which renewal would depend on organizational requirements.
Contract Terms: What to Expect Before You Join
This is a purely contractual engagement for a period of 1 (one) year only. Understanding the nature of this role before applying helps avoid disappointment later.
The engagement is with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, not directly with UIDAI or the Government of India
You will be deployed at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) in your assigned district
The role involves direct interaction with residents seeking Aadhaar enrolment, biometric updates, and demographic corrections
Working under this contract does not automatically lead to regularization or a permanent government job
VLEs who are already operating CSC Common Service Centers are ineligible to apply, as these are separate operational roles
