JRF Posts Convertible to PhD

The Central University of Jammu, through its Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences, has invited applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions, which are convertible to PhD as per the rules of the Central University of Jammu.

🎯 Nature of the Post

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their eligibility and suitability to pursue a PhD at the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences.

Selected candidates will be registered for PhD under the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences, Central University of Jammu.

Infantry, Home & Hearth Battalions, Territorial Army TA New Recruitment 2026

The PhD rules of the Central University of Jammu will be applicable.

🔬 Research Areas

The selected JRFs will work in the following research areas:

Wireless Communication

Space Communication

Quantum Communication

Security in Space Communication

🎓 Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

B.E./B.Tech. and M.Tech./M.E. in any of the following:

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Computer Science and Engineering

Candidates should have a valid GATE/NET/JRF qualification.

💰 Stipend

Selected candidates will receive:

₹37,000 per month + HRA as per Central University of Jammu norms for the first two years.

₹42,000 per month + HRA as per Central University of Jammu norms for the third year.

Note: In case the project discontinues, ₹25,000 per month will be provided from the University fund.
