Guest Teachers for Management Studies
Walk-in-Interview

The Department of Management Studies, Central University of Kashmir has invited eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for engagement as Guest Teachers to teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the Department of Management Studies.
The engagement is initially for the academic session 2026–2027, up to 31 December 2026, and may be extended, if required.
Date, Venue and Time
Interested and eligible candidates are required to appear for the walk-in interview/interaction before the Dean, School of Business Studies, Central University of Kashmir, Tulmulla Campus, Ganderbal, on:
Date: 21-08-2026 (Friday)
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: Office of the Dean, School of Business Studies, Central University of Kashmir, Tulmulla Campus, Ganderbal.
Candidates should report at the venue as per the scheduled time along with all required original documents and certificates.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the prescribed academic qualifications for the engagement of Guest Teachers.
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, along with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM with AICTE/UGC equivalence, as applicable.
OR
A Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/Business Administration or equivalent qualification, fulfilling the AICTE norms, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade wherever a grading system is followed.
2. Ph.D. Qualification
Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and their amendments from time to time, may be considered for engagement.
Such candidates may be exempted from NET, wherever applicable under the relevant rules.
Important Note Regarding NET
NET shall not be required for candidates possessing a Master’s Degree in disciplines for which NET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Desirable Qualifications
The following qualifications/experience will be considered desirable:
Two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree.
MBA with specialization in Finance and Operations.
Candidates possessing these additional qualifications may have an advantage during the selection process.
Remuneration
Selected Guest Teachers will be paid remuneration as per the terms mentioned in the notification:
₹1,000 per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹25,000 per month.
In addition, TA of ₹300 per day will be admissible for visits/subject to a maximum of ₹5,000 per month.
The remuneration will be subject to the applicable rules and conditions of the University.

Eligible candidates are required to bring the following documents/certificates for verification:
Educational qualification certificates
Marks sheets
Experience certificates, wherever applicable
Other relevant supporting documents
Original documents for verification
Candidates must also submit a photocopy set of all relevant documents along with the application/interaction materials, as required.
Important Instructions
Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions before appearing for the walk-in interview.
Candidates should report at the Office of the Dean, School of Business Studies, Central University of Kashmir, Tulmulla Campus, Ganderbal, on the specified date and time.
All original certificates/documents should be produced for verification.
Candidates should carry photocopies of their relevant educational and experience documents.
The engagement is initially up to 31 December 2026 and may be extended if required.
The engagement will be subject to the terms and conditions prescribed by the Central University of Kashmir.
