Vacancy 2026 Details
The 22 vacancies are distributed across six position codes based on discipline. Position codes ending in “1” are for Diploma holders (6 years relevant post-qualification experience) and those ending in “2” are for B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) holders (4 years relevant post-qualification experience), except Position Code C, which is open to Diploma in Chemical holders only.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the educational qualification and relevant experience prescribed for the position code they are applying to, as on the cut-off date of 31 July 2026.

Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPI in the minimum educational qualification, and the qualification must have been acquired within the prescribed minimum course duration.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for all position codes (A1 to F2) is 33 years as on 31 July 2026.
Age relaxations available as per the notification:
10 years for Persons with Disabilities (General/EWS)
5 years for SC/ST candidates
3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates
13 years for PwD-OBC (NCL) candidates
15 years for PwD-SC/ST candidates
Relaxable for Ex-Servicemen (extent not specified in the notification)
Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration (inclusive of HRA and PF), which varies by the category of the posting city:

Selection Process
On the day of selection, applications and certificates will be screened to confirm eligibility for the post applied for. Only candidates meeting the eligibility requirements in full will proceed further.
The selection process will be conducted at EIL’s Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Kolkata and Vadodara offices for position codes A1 to F2. Candidates must report at 08:00 AM; the exact date and venue will be intimated separately by email. Depending on the number of candidates, the process may extend up to 08:00 PM and, if required, continue the next day, in which case candidates must arrange their own stay.
Only candidates who have registered online and report with a printout bearing a valid registration number will be considered.

EIL Associate Modellers Apply Online – Steps
Visit the career link on the EIL website: www.engineersindia.com and complete the online registration.
Read all instructions given on the website carefully before proceeding.
Fill in the online form with correct details. Round off percentage of marks to the lower whole number (e.g., 60.9% becomes 60%) and CGPA to the lower decimal (e.g., 6.95 becomes 6.9).
Keep scanned copies ready before starting registration: a recent passport-size colour photograph (JPG/JPEG, up to 75 KB) and a signature (JPG/JPEG, up to 25 KB).
There is no need to post a printed application. Instead, take 6 printouts of the completed online application form, affix a colour photograph on each, and carry them to the selection process.
Note that the cut-off date for post-qualification relevant experience and upper age limit is 31 July 2026.
A candidate can apply for only one position under this advertisement; if multiple applications are submitted, the latest one is considered final and older ones are rejected without notice.
Documents Required at the Time of Selection
6 copies of the duly filled and submitted online application form with a recent colour photograph affixed
Valid photo ID issued by the Government of India (Driving Licence/PAN Card/Passport/Voter ID/Aadhar Card) – original
Proof of date of birth – Matriculation/Class X certificate or Birth Certificate – original
Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets (Matriculation/Class X/HSC/Degree/Post-Graduation) – original
Proof of norms used to convert CGPA/OGPA/CPI to percentage, where applicable
Experience certificates for all declared experience, showing date of joining, date of separation and nature of work – original
Supporting documents such as offer letter, confirmation order, pay slips, PF statement, ESI card and  bank statement, if demanded
SC/ST, OBC (NCL), EWS or Disability certificate in the prescribed format, if applicable – original
Discharge certificate and related proforma for Ex-Servicemen, if applicable
No Objection Certificate for candidates currently working in/under a Central/State/Autonomous Body, if applicable
Candidates unable to produce a required original document to meet eligibility will not be considered for further selection.
Terms and Conditions :
The engagement is purely on a fixed-term basis for a period of 2 years and will terminate automatically on expiry unless ended earlier.
Candidates may be required to work anywhere in India and abroad, depending on requirement.
Selected candidates will be allowed to join only if found medically fit, and are required to join immediately.
No claim for regular appointment in EIL will be entertained by virtue of having worked on a fixed-term basis.
Candidates must make their own arrangements for travel and stay; no allowances are paid for the selection process.
Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
EIL reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the advertisement/selection process without assigning any reason.
