Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the below mentioned position at Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) at Govt. Medical College, Kathua on Contract basis for a period of one year extendable on yearly basis subject to good performance and conduct or till the continuation of centrally Sponsored Scheme, whichever is earlier.

MBBS from a recognized institution along with Medical Council Registration (preferable MD or Equivalent qualification
in Psychiatry)
Remuneration : Rs.60,000
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :-
Application Form is enclosed as Annexure “A”.
Candidates are advised to go through the terms and conditions before filling up the application form.
The last date for submission of the Application Form completed in all respects along with all the relevant documents in the office of the Principal GMC, Kathua (Administrative Block) before 01:00 pm is on 10.07.2025.
The shortlisting of candidates for the interview/viva voce will be 1:10 times of the respective advertised vacancies as per merit secured by the candidates as per the selection criteria Item No.(i) mentioned above, and will be notified on the official web site of GMC Kathua

The candidates shall have to execute a contract agreement with the Principal, GMC Kathua/Nodal Officer ATF that he/she shall not claim for any regular appointment/extension in the department at the time of joining.
No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the viva voce/interview.
In case, the last date fixed for receipt of application is declared a holiday, next working day shall be deemed to be last date for receiving the application
The application should be superscripted as APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF MEDICAL OFFICER UNDER ATF wherever applicable.
