Application Fee
Candidates are required to deposit an application fee of ₹300/-, which is non-refundable.
The payment is to be made through Challan in favour of the Principal, Government College of Physical Education, Gadoora Ganderbal, in the specified J&K Bank Ganderbal Account No. 0560040500000067.

Application Schedule
The application form will be available for download from 19 August 2026 to 29 August 2026.
Candidates must submit the hard copy of the duly filled application form along with all relevant documents in the office of the Principal, Government College of Physical Education, Gadoora Ganderbal.

Educational Qualification
1. Assistant Professor (Lecturer) – 04 Positions
Candidates should possess:
A Master’s Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum requirement is 50% marks, excluding grace marks.
The candidate should have NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D.
Important :
In case candidates possessing the relevant Ph.D./M.Phil./NET/SET/SLET qualifications are not available, Teaching Assistants may be engaged purely on a need basis.
2. Specialist (Teaching Assistant) – 01 Position
Candidates should have:
A Master’s Degree in Physical Education.
At least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
For SC/ST candidates, the minimum requirement is 50% marks, excluding grace marks.
3. Computer Instructor (Teaching Assistant) – 01 Position
Candidates should possess:
A Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Applications.
At least 55% marks.
For SC/ST candidates, the minimum requirement is 50% marks, excluding grace marks.
4. Lady Warden – 01 Position
Candidates should possess:
A Master’s Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks.
For SC/ST candidates, the minimum requirement is 50% marks, excluding grace marks.
Preference will be given to candidates having a Hotel Management Certificate Course.
