Vacancy Details :

A total of 30 vacancies have been notified across Finance Officer, Dy. Manager (Finance), and Manager (Design) – Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics posts.

Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) is distributed across all categories (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, UR) as per Government directives. PwBD candidates with not less than 40% of the identified disability are eligible, subject to submission of a Disability Certificate in the prescribed format. Post-wise identified disabilities include Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Locomotor Disability, and Multiple Disabilities, varying by post – candidates must mandatorily indicate the type of disability in the online application.

Selected candidates for Design disciplines will be posted at any HAL Design Centre; Finance discipline candidates will be posted at any Division/R&D Centre/Office, subject to transfer as per organizational requirements.

Only qualifications acquired through Regular or Full-Time courses are accepted; Correspondence/Distance Education/Part-Time/E-Learning qualifications are not eligible.

 

Post Professional Qualification Experience (PPQE)

PPQE is calculated only from the date of acquiring the requisite professional qualification; experience prior to that is not counted. Experience must be relevant to the post applied for and in an Executive position/cadre, and must be supported by documentary proof at the document verification stage.

 

 Age Limit :

Grade II   : 35 years

Grade III  : 45 years

Grade IV   : 35 years

Age reckoned as on the last date for receipt of online applications: 12 August 2026

SC/ST candidates applying against reserved posts: 5 years’ relaxation

OBC (NCL) candidates applying against reserved posts: 3 years’ relaxation

PwBD candidates: 10 years’ relaxation, over and above relaxation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)

Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989: 5 years’ relaxation

Ex-servicemen and serving Armed Forces officers: relaxation as per Company rules

OBC/SC/ST/EWS candidates applying for UR posts will be treated on par with UR criteria – no relaxation applicable

Maximum age after all relaxations: 56 years for PwBDs, 55 years for all other candidates

Pay Scale & Remuneration

Grade II   :₹50,000 – 1,60,000

Grade III  : ₹60,000 – 1,80,000

Grade IV   : ₹70,000 – 2,00,000

Annual increment is presently 3% of running Basic Pay. Besides Basic Pay, selected candidates will be eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance, Perquisites & Allowances (presently 35% of running Basic Pay under the Cafeteria System), Company Accommodation/HRA, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Provident Fund, Gratuity, and other benefits as per Company rules.

 

Service Agreement Bond

Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond to serve HAL for 3 years. The Bond amount is Rs. 5,00,000, limited to 6 months’ Basic Pay plus Dearness Allowance, and the liability is non-depreciating during the bond tenure. Inducted executives will undergo two weeks of structured training at the HAL Management Academy/Division of posting, followed by one week of familiarization at the Division of posting.

Application Fee :

₹500/- (inclusive of 18% GST) for all candidates other than SC/ST/PwBD

SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from the application fee

Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances, even if the candidate cannot complete registration

Payment is made online via SB Collect (Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI); applicable convenience fee/taxes are borne by the candidate

Applications submitted without the requisite fee will be summarily rejected with no refund

 

 Selection Process :

Selection will be through Personal Interview only.

Applications are first scrutinized based on essential qualification, age, category, and PPQE; candidates must produce supporting documents at the document verification stage.

Only Executive Cadre experience in the concerned PSU/Central/State/Private organization is considered eligible; contract experience engaged directly by PSU/Government bodies may be considered, but contract experience through third-party contractors will not be considered.

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1:10 (maximum), prioritized by relevant experience, then qualifying exam marks, then age (elder/senior first) in case of ties.

The Selection Committee will assess candidates on  job knowledge, general knowledge related to the post, and personality, in addition to qualifications and PPQE.

Meeting the minimum qualification/PPQE criteria does not guarantee shortlisting for interview.

Date, time, and venue of interview will be communicated only via email to shortlisted candidates; the shortlist will be hosted on the HAL website.

Soft copy of latest passport-size colour photograph and signature (.jpg format, under 100 KB and 50 KB respectively)

Semester-wise/year-wise  educational mark details

Previous employment details for PPQE, along with pen-picture details for each line of experience

Caste Certificate / Income & Asset Certificate / Disability Certificate in the prescribed format (for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD candidates, at interview/document verification stage)

No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer, if employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous body/Armed Forces (at document verification stage)

How to Apply for HAL Executive Recruitment 2026?

Ensure you fulfil the eligibility criteria for qualification, age, and PPQE for the specific post before applying.

Visit the HAL website: www.hal-india.co.in (Careers Section) and click the registration link for the desired post.

Fill in eligibility details and upload your photograph; a unique Application Number will be generated (eligibility details cannot be edited after submission).

Fill in Personal, Qualification, PPQE, and Pen-Picture details in the online application form.

SC/ST/PwBD candidates: complete registration directly on the Application Confirmation page and print it for reference.

UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates: proceed to pay the ₹500/- application fee online via SB Collect (Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI).

Wait 48-72 hours for payment validation and application confirmation, then download the final submitted application form.

Apply for only ONE post; multiple applications for the same post will result in only the last valid application being retained, with fee for other registrations forfeited.

Submit the online application on or before 12 August 2026, 1400 hours.

Important Instructions

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply; these vacancies are for external candidates only through Direct Recruitment – internal candidates’ applications will not be considered.

Applicants must apply for only one post matching their qualification and experience; the application, once submitted, cannot be altered under any circumstances.

No documents need to be attached with the application, but all particulars must be supported by original documents at the document verification stage prior to interview, failing which candidature will be rejected.

Once an employee has availed VRS from a PSU, they cannot join another PSU without returning the VRS compensation to the concerned PSU.

Selected candidates cannot seek transfer to another Division/Location for the first three years of service.

Any canvassing or influencing officials related to the recruitment/selection process will lead to immediate disqualification.

In case of ambiguity between English and other language versions of the advertisement, the English version will prevail.

Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be Bengaluru.
