The Institute of Driving & Traffic Research (IDTR), Jammu is an upcoming state-of-the-art driver training and evaluation centre focused on enhancing road safety through professional driver training and assessment.
The institute is located at Kot Bhalwal, Gairk Jammu, near Rajiv Gandhi School of Nursing. It is spread over more than 10 acres and is equipped with modern infrastructure, advanced driving simulators, training vehicles and scientifically designed driving tracks.
Details of Vacancies
1. Operation Incharge – 1 Post
The institute is looking for an experienced professional with 10–15 years of experience in administration.

2. Instructors/Trainers – 10 Posts
A total of 10 vacancies are available for the Instructor/Trainer position.
Educational and experience requirements:
10+2 along with a certificate course in ITI/Motor Mechanic, Diploma in Engineering, or any higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognised by the Central or State Government.
Minimum 5 years of driving experience with HMV/LMV vehicles.
Candidates holding a 5-year-old HMV licence will be given preference.
Ex-servicemen with similar qualifications and relevant experience may also apply.
3. Accountant – 1 Post
The institute has 1 vacancy for the Accountant position.

M.Com/B.Com qualification.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accountancy.
Good knowledge of Tally, GST returns, bookkeeping and taxation laws.
4. Data Entry Operator – 3 Posts

Eligibility and skills:
Graduate qualification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in MS Office and PowerPoint presentations.
Knowledge of networking will be an advantage.
Candidates should have good typing speed and data-entry skills.
