Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates, in the prescribed Application Proforma, for appointment to the teaching posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor (on direct recruitment basis) in various Schools of Studies, at the Indira Gandhi National Open University, as under :

Eligibility conditions :

The Minimum eligibility conditions shall be as per University Grants Commission Regulations, 2018 and subsequent amendments there to and wherever required, norms of concerned Regulatory bodies like, NCTE, MCI, etc. The cutoff date for determining eligibility
conditions will be last date of receipt of online applications.

The applicants who had applied to the same post in response to the preceding Advertisements issued by the University need to apply afresh.

The online portal will be open from 31.12.2022. The last date for submission of online application is 31.01.2023 or 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News, whichever is later. The hard copy of the printout of application submitted online along with self attested copies of necessary certificates/documents should reach the Director, Academic Coordination Division, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi110068 through registered/speed post on or before 10.02.2023.

Note : Also includes the Backlog vacancies of SCs, STs, OBCs of previous years advertised earlier.

victims and muscular dystrophy]. Applicants seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories must upload the necessary documents justifying the claim of respective reservation as per Govt. of India lists/rules/norms.
