Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), Ministry of Tourism, Government India, is a premier national institute for tourism education, research and training. It operates from five campuses located at Gwalior (Head Quarter), Bhubaneswar, Noida, Goa and Nellore. Its profile of activities include
running of tourism related graduate and post graduate management courses and conducting of training programmes for Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and many State Governments. This institute also actively engages itself in research and consultancy activities.

General Terms And Conditions

i) IITTM requires the faculty position in the discipline in Tourism & Travel. The preference will be given to the candidate having education and teaching experience in the field/ domain of Tourism & Travel and their publications should also be in the same field.

ii) Aspirants are advised to satisfy themselves before applying for the post that they possess at least the minimum essential qualification as laid down in the advertisement/IITTM website.

iii) In the institutions where grading system is followed, applicants are required to convert the grade obtained by them into its equivalent percentage giving the standard conversion formula.

iv) The aspirants for the job of Assistant Professor in IITTM are required to submit their applications with completed Datasheet based on data, as on the last/closing date of receipt of applications. The applicant should submit 3 sets of 5 major publications that have been published subsequent to their placement in the post of Assistant Professor

Stage-II. A certificate about the date of placement in Assistant Professor stage-II issued by the competent authority of their organization must be attached with the application.

v) The Mere possession of the essential qualifications will not entitle the aspirant to be called for interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement, are large it may not be possible to interview all the aspirants. IITTM, at its discretion, may restrict the number of aspirants to a reasonable limit, on the basis of higher qualifications/experience than the minimum as prescribed in the advertisement.

vi) Certificate in support of experience of the aspirant should be in proper format i.e. it should bear the organization’s letter-head, the date of issue, specific period of work, name and designation of issuing authority along with signature and official seal.

vii) Relaxation in educational qualification, experience, age, etc. in the case of reserved category aspirants will be permissible as per Government of India rules.

viii) Aspirants belonging to SC/ST category must submit the reservation certificate issued by the competent authority, not below the rank of Tahsildar. In the case of OBC candidate, recent certificate should be issued by the competent authority particularly with reference to Non–creamy layer. Those who fail to submit the required certificate(s) on the last date of application, will be treated as General Category candidates, subject to
fulfillment of other terms & conditions.

G E N E R A L T E R M S A N D C O N D I T I O N S FOR JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL) ON DEPUTATION

i) Completed application as per the prescribed format duly forwarded through proper channel with application fee of Rs.1000.00 (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH) in the form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Director, IITTM payable at Gwalior, should reach the Director, Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Govindpuri, Gwalior (MP)- 474 011 latest by 12th April 2023.

ii) The selected official shall be on deputation for a period of one year initially which can be curtailed or extended depending on the requirement. The standard terms and condition of deputation will be applicable.

iii) Candidates should submit their applications through proper channel along with their APARs for the last 05 years, certified by a Concerned Officer along with Cadre clearance and Vigilance clearance respectively.

iv) Applications should be supported by relevant documents (attested) in all respects. Applications not supported by relevant documents as prescribed, will be summarily rejected.

v) No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

vi) IITTM will not be responsible for any postal delay.

vii) Application received after the closing date or incomplete in any manner shall not be entertained.

viii) Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying for the post that they possess at least the required minimum essential qualification mentioned in the advertisement/IITTM website.

ix) Applications should be sent/submitted by super-scribing the name of the post applied for on the envelope.
