ITBP Recruitment 2024: Check Posts, Vacancies, Eligibility and Application Process Now

The Union Public Commission of India has released the ITBP AC 2024 recruitment notification for the appointment of Assistant Commandants in Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Candidates must be Indian citizens. As per the official notification released by UPSC for SSB Recruitment 2024, the last date for receipt of applications is 14^th May 2024. As per the official notification released by UPS, there are 58 vacancies opened for the mentioned position in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

The maximum age limit for applying for the mentioned job posts is 25 years. The applicants applying for the mentioned position should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Written Examination on 04th August, 2024 for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in ITBP.

The selection process involves a written examination comprising Paper I and Paper II, followed by Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests, Medical Examination, and an Interview/Personality Test. The final merit list is determined based on a total of 600 marks from all stages of evaluation.

The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as per the post can apply online through the official portal of UPSC and submit their duly filled applications on or before the last date of the submission. Vacancy Details — The recruitment notification for ITBP Assistant Commandants (Group A) vacancies is as follows:

Age Limit :-
Candidates should be at least 20 years old and not more than 25 years old as on August 1, 2024 i.e., they must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1999 and later than August 1, 2004. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per government rules.

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:-

(i) Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

(ii) Upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.

(iii) upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants.

Application Fees —
The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) [excepting SC/ST/Female candidates who are exempted from payment of fee] either by remitting the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using any Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI Payment or by using net banking of any Bank.

How to Apply —

Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://www.upsconline.nic.in.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC which is https://upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for the “Examination” section on the homepage and click on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website for registration. Fresh candidates must complete the one-time registration (OTR) process. After the OTR is completed, they can proceed to fill the application process.
Step 3: Before applying, make sure to go through the instructions and eligibility criteria carefully.
Step 4: Click on the “Login” link and enter all the necessary details like personal information, educational qualifications, and contact information.
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other relevant documents.
Step 6: Pay the application fee as per your category. You can pay the fee online using a debit/credit card or through net banking.
Step 7: After successful payment, review your application form and submit it.
Step 8: Finally, take a printout of your application form for future reference.

Selection Process 
The selection process for ITBP AC 2024 involves a written examination comprising Paper I and Paper II, conducted on the same day. Subsequently, candidates undergo Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests, followed by a Medical Examination. Finally, successful candidates proceed to the Interview/Personality Test, with the final merit list determined based on a total of 600 marks from all stages of evaluation.

Written Examination: Candidates first need to clear a written examination.

Physical Standards/Efficiency Tests: Qualified candidates undergo physical standards and efficiency tests.

Medical Examination: Those who pass the physical tests undergo a medical examination.

Interview/Personality Test: Successful candidates are called for an interview or personality test.
