Online Applications from the domiciles of UT of Jammu & Kashmir are invited for the following position available in the AICTE IDEA Lab, Islamic University of Science & Technology, Kashmir, purely on a contract basis:
Post : Junior Technical Assistant
Eligibility :
(i) B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science / Instrumentation / Mechatronics or related engineering discipline from a recognized University / Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average.
(ii) At least one year of hands-on experience in the skills listed below.
Skills :
• Embedded Systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP series).
• IoT sensor interfacing, communication protocols (MQTT, LoRa, BLE, Wi-Fi), and IoT cloud platforms.
• PCB Designing & Fabrication using tools such as KiCAD, Eagle, or Altium.
• Operation and maintenance of CNC machines, 3D printers, laser cutters, and other AICTE IDEA Lab equipment.
• Proficiency in basic electronics assembly, soldering, and testing.
• Familiarity with safety protocols for lab equipment

• Consolidated monthly remuneration : Rs. 29,200/- (twenty-nine thousand two hundred only).
Terms and Conditions / Instructions :
1. The engagement shall be purely contractual and shall not confer any right whatsoever on the prospective engagement to claim continuation or otherwise.
2. Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the University website (www.iust.ac.in) and pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (five hundred only). Upon successful submission of the online application, candidates must submit the
hard copy of the duly filled application form, along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents and certificates, to the office of the AICTE IDEA Lab, IUST Campus III (CIED OFFICE) on any working day, on or before the last date of submission. Failure to submit the hard copy within the stipulated time shall result in the cancellation of candidature.
3. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date & place of the written test / Practical Demonstration/ interview through e-mail/ website, whichever i s suitable. However, the University does not take any responsibility for non-receipt or delayed receipt of the intimation by a candidate.
4. All relevant information / Updates/ Addendum,/ Corrigendum shall be uploaded on the University website www.iust.ac.in only. The Candidates are advised to remain in touch with the University website, and notifying the same in newspapers shall not be
obligatory on the University’s part.
5. Candidates who have been awarded an Undergraduate / Post Graduate degree from a Foreign University should enclose the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, without which their candidature will not be considered and the application form will be rejected.
6. The University reserves the right to defer / not to filling up the post advertised here-in above, without assigning any reason thereof.
7. The University reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of posts advertised here-in-above.
8. The appointed candidates shall be bound to act in conformity with the Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations, and rules of the University as well as a code of professional ethics as prescribed or may come into force.
9. The engagement order/salary in favour of the recommended candidate(s) shall not be issued until a satisfactory report about his / her character & antecedents from relevant agencies is received.
10. In case of any disputes /suites or legal proceedings against the University, the jurisdiction shall be confined to the court of Srinagar only.
11. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for appearing in the test / interview.
