ADVERTISEMENT FOR ENGAGEMENT OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the following AYUSH sponsored research project:

Project Title : “Investigate the Therapeutic and Chemo-Sensitizing Efficacy of Unani
Pharmacopoeial Formulation Dawa-Ul-Kurkum on Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Posts : 01

Monthly Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- + 9% HRA

Essential Qualification : First Class Post-Graduate (PG) degree, such as M.Sc. or equivalent, with specialization in Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Botany / Pharmacology, from a recognized Board/University/Institute.

Desirable Qualification :
Candidates having previous experience in Cell Culture / Drug Discovery / Animal Models /
Molecular Biology will be preferred.

Age Limit :
➢ General/EWS: Maximum 30 years
➢ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): up to 33 years
➢ SC/ST/Differently Abled/Women: up to 35 years

Duration of Engagement : The position is purely temporary and contractual and shall be coterminus with the duration of the project, subject to availability of funds and satisfactory
performance.

The engagement shall not confer any right or claim for regular appointment in the
University.

Note : The hard copy of the complete application shall be submitted only on working days during the prescribed office hours.

Documents to be submitted :

Candidates shall submit the following documents :
1. Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV);
2. Copies of educational qualification certificates and mark sheets;
3. Proof of date of birth;
4. Valid JRF/NET/GATE/SET or equivalent qualification certificate, as applicable;
5. Experience certificate(s), if any; and
6. Other relevant supporting documents.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
2. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
3. The selected candidate will be required to work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and perform duties related to the project.
4. The engagement is purely temporary and project-specific and shall automatically cease upon completion/termination of the project.
5. The University/Principal Investigator reserves the right to shortlist candidates and/or not to fill the position without assigning any reason.
6. All other terms and conditions shall be governed by the applicable DBT guidelines and University rules.
