Applications are invited from eligible Applicants for the post of Football Players for J&K Bank Football Team
Name of the Post : Assistant Banking Associate/Banking Attendant CadreÂ
Number of Positions : 07
Qualification :
i. For the post of Assistant Banking Associate: – Pass in 12th Standard examination from the Board.
ii. For the post of Banking Attendant: – Pass in 10th Standard examination from the Board.
Sports Qualification :
Candidate should be a Domicile of UT of J&K/ Ladakh and having represented
i) Country in an International competition, in football, OR
ii) State or UT in a National competition, in football, OR
iii) District in the State or UT level event or a winning University in Inter university Tournaments conducted by Inter University Board.
Note :
1. At the time of appointment the candidate must be an active sportsperson and should be fit
enough to take part in future tournaments also.
2. Order of preference in appointment shall be in the sequence as enumerated above.
3. Performance of candidates in the previous two years will be given preference.

Remuneration :
i. For ABA Pay scale of 24050-64480 plus other perks as admissible to regular employees of the bank
ii. For BAT Pay scale of 19500-37815 plus other perks as admissible to regular employees of the bank
Age as on 01.01.2026 :
i. For Banking Attendant- Candidate should not be below 18 years and over 30 years of age.
ii. For Assistant Banking Associates- Candidate should not be below 20 years and over 28 years of age.
The categories of Sports persons specified may be allowed relaxation in upper age limit upto a
maximum of 5-years (10-years in case of those belonging to Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes)
Selection Process :
Candidates possessing requisite qualifications will be called for selection trials to be conducted by the Sports Board of the Bank.
Candidates who qualify in selection trials for the discipline applied for will be called for interview at respective centres; Jammu and/or Srinagar, where selection process shall be
conducted by Sports Board of the Bank.
The recruitment will be mainly on the basis of sports qualifications, suitable weightage would be given to this factor as well as the age of the candidates.
Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit, determined under selection criteria of the Bank.
Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them as per the selection criteria will be prepared in descending order for respective post and sport discipline. The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list up to the number of vacancies in respective discipline. In case of equal marks obtained by two or more candidates, the merit order of such group of candidates will be on the basis of Date of Birth i.e. Candidate junior/younger in age will be placed higher in the merit List.
The Bank shall reserve the right to restrict number of candidates to be called for interview. Mere fulfilment of requisite qualifications will not confer any right on a candidate to be called for interview. Candidates found suitable will be waitlisted. Final selection will depend, inter-alia, on verification of character & antecedents, medical fitness and verification of genuineness of sports certificates to the Bank’s satisfaction.

Candidates are requested to apply online from 11.05.2026 to 25.05.2026 through the link made available on Banks website (jkb.bank.in) under careers tab. The candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee of Rs. 500/- (Incl. of GST) per application.
Selection Trials/ Interview :
Intimation regarding selection trials/ call letter for interview will be sent by email only.
NO HARD COPY WILL BE SENT.
