Educational Qualification

Preference will be given to candidates having:
Certificate in Treasury Management
Certified Treasury Dealer Course
Age Limit
The maximum age of the candidate should be 61 years as on 31 March 2026.
However, in the case of a suitable candidate, relaxation in the maximum age by up to 2 years may be considered.
Eligibility & Work Experience
Candidates should:
Have served as Deputy General Manager (DGM) or equivalent position or above.
Possess proven managerial and leadership expertise.
Have 15+ years of experience working across different areas such as:
Treasury desks
Finance
Credit
Cash Management
Other relevant banking functions
Must have at least 5 years of experience in Treasury of a Bank/Financial Institution.
The required Treasury experience should have been acquired while serving in the rank of Assistant General Manager (AGM) or equivalent and above.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Advisor will be responsible for identifying and analysing business opportunities for treasury teams and developing strategic business-development programmes to grow the treasury business portfolio.
The work will be carried out in line with the directions of the Board of Directors and Top Management.
A. Strategy Formulation & Planning
The Advisor shall:
Advise/assist the Treasury Head in formulating and leading the development of a 5-year Treasury & Forex Strategy.
Ensure that the strategy is aligned with the Bank’s vision, mission and corporate objectives.
Assist in execution of the strategy during the contractual period.
Assist the Treasury Head in translating the Treasury & Forex strategy into annual operational business plans.
Ensure plans remain within the defined budgetary limits.
B. Policy Formulation & Budgeting
The Advisor will:
Ensure departmental policies are developed, reviewed, benchmarked, updated and maintained.
Ensure operational activities remain aligned with:
Bank policies
Government/RBI regulations

Industry best practices
Assist the Treasury Head in regular interaction with regulators regarding processes for Forex products.
Assist in completing the Treasury & Forex budgeting process on time.
Ensure the budget is submitted to the Budgeting Committee.
Monitor budget performance throughout the year.
C. Treasury Business Growth
The Advisor will also work towards:
Growing the treasury customer base, if the Bank decides to opt for Treasury Sales.
Identifying opportunities to generate treasury business through:
Corporate banking
Commercial banking
Consumer banking
Developing plans to expand the Bank’s reach among smaller companies in targeted segments across India.
Converting such companies into treasury clients.
D. Treasury Management
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring and advising on trading/investment portfolios, including:
Working Capital
High-Yield
Escrow
Other portfolios
Reviewing investment policies according to changing market conditions.
Assisting the Treasury Head in designing and implementing hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Primarily managing foreign-currency cash-flow exposure through recommended derivative financial instruments.
Managing interest-rate risk and liquidity.
Evaluating, developing and recommending cash-management systems to improve efficiency.
Monitoring and advising/assisting the Treasury Head regarding:
Money Market Desk
Debt Capital Desk
Forex Trading Desk
E. Operational Excellence
The Advisor shall:
Institutionalize best practices proactively.
Establish service-quality standards.
Improve service delivery to customers.
7. Nature of Engagement
The appointment will be purely contractual.
Contract Duration: 3 years
Performance Review: Every year
8. Salary / Remuneration
The selected candidate will receive:
Monthly Compensation: ₹3 lakh
Annual Compensation: ₹36 lakh
The lump-sum compensation is inclusive of all components, including:
Basic Salary
Gratuity
Monetary Perquisites
Non-Monetary Perquisites
Additional Negotiation
For deserving candidates, the compensation may be negotiated upward by a maximum of 25%.
9. Leave Benefits
The appointee will be entitled to:
Casual Leave
12 days of Casual Leave (CL) per calendar year.
If the contract starts in the middle of a calendar year, CL will be allowed on a pro-rata basis.
Unused Casual Leave:
Cannot be encashed.
Cannot be carried forward.
Privilege Leave
30 days of Privilege Leave per calendar year.
If the contract begins mid-year, it will be provided on a pro-rata basis.
Privilege Leave can be availed only after completing 11 months of contractual service.
Encashment of unused Privilege Leave, up to a maximum of 30 days, will be allowed only after completing 2 years of contractual service with the Bank.

13. Important Terms & Conditions
No additional benefit or allowance will be payable during the contract or upon its expiry/termination.
During the contractual period, the appointee will generally be governed by the Bank’s existing policies relating to Conduct and Discipline, as amended from time to time.
The selected candidate must submit a Non-Disclosure Agreement/Confidentiality Agreement/other required undertaking in the prescribed format on stamp paper of the requisite value, wherever applicable, at the time of joining.
Either party can terminate the contract by giving 3 months’ notice or salary/payment in lieu of notice.
Any unauthorized absence may result in immediate termination of the contract.
Appointment will be subject to the candidate being declared medically fit.
Appointment will also be subject to satisfactory verification of the candidate’s character, antecedents, credentials and certificates.
The appointment will remain provisional until successful completion of medical examination and verification.

Cancel the entire recruitment process.
Modify or amend the selection process.
Change eligibility criteria, if required.
The Bank may conduct one or more personal interviews/additional personal interviews, wherever considered necessary.
Shortlisted candidates must appear for the interview/interaction at the designated venue at their own cost.
Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for the selection process.
The Bank may shortlist only the required number of candidates based on factors including age, qualification, essential requirements and suitability.
15. False Information & Document Verification
If at any stage it is found that a candidate has:
Provided false information
Submitted forged documents
Suppressed material facts affecting their candidature
the application will be immediately rejected.
If such irregularities are discovered after selection, the Bank may terminate the contract with immediate effect.
16. Final Decision & Legal Jurisdiction
The Bank’s decision regarding selection will be final and binding on all candidates.
No representation or correspondence regarding the selection decision will be entertained.
Any dispute arising from the advertisement or selection process will be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated in Srinagar.
