The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Lecturers in the School Education Department of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. This recruitment aims to fill a total of 575 vacancies across various disciplines, including Arabic, Botany, Chemistry, and more. JKPSC Jobs Details: The recruitment is for the position of Lecturer with a pay level of 9 (₹52,700 – ₹1,66,700). A total of 575 posts are available, categorized by discipline and reservation for various groups, including Open Merit, RBA, SC, ST, and others.

Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. Additionally, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is required. Candidates claiming reservation must have valid category certificates.

Age Limit: The age limit for candidates is as follows:

Open Merit: 40 years

Reserved Categories : 43 years

Physically Challenged Candidates : 42 years

In-service candidates : 40 years The age will be calculated as of January 1, 2024.
