Filling up of the post of Assistant Professor, Computer Application in Higher Education Department -Decision of the Appellate Authority – thereof
Notice Dated:29.07.2025
Whereas, the Higher Education Department, vide letter HE/Coll/Coord/Apptt/A.P/2021 dated 05.07.2021 and No. HED-GAZ/85/2022-04 dated 13.04.2022, among others, referred 18 posts (OM=08, RBA=02, SC=02, ST=02, EWS=01, ALC/IB=01, PSP=01, SLC=01) of Assistant Professor Computer Application, in Higher Education Department, for selection; and,
02- Whereas, the posts were advertised vide Notification No. 06-PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated 01.03.2023; and,
03- Whereas, the prescribed qualification for the post of Assistant Professor Computer Application in Higher Education Department is as under:-
“Good academic record as defined by the Concerned University with at least 55% marks [50% excluding any grace marks in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and Visually differently abled) Categories/Ph.D degree holders, who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19h September, 1991] or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
The candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC, CSIR /AIU.
The candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D degree regulations), 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master’s Programme in discipline for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
04- Whereas, the written test was conducted on 29.08.2024 and the result thereof was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2024/67 dated 05.11.2024; and,
05- Whereas, upon scrutiny of the documents it was found that the candidates whose details are given below do not possess the requisite relevant qualification for the said post, and accordingly their candidature was rejected vide Notice dated 13.06.2025, with a stipulation that if any of the candidate(s) feel aggrieved with the rejection of his/her candidature, he/she may represent
before the Appellate Authority:-
