Candidates should follow these steps:
Step 1: Register on the JKSSB Portal
Visit the official JKSSB website and click on “New User / Sign Up” to create login credentials.
A valid email ID and mobile number are required for registration. The registration process includes OTP-based verification.
Step 2: Complete OTR
After registering and creating login credentials, candidates must complete their OTR (One-Time Registration).
Once OTR is completed, candidates should click on the “Active Advertisement” tab and then select “Apply” against the relevant advertised post.
Step 3: Fill the Application Form
Candidates must carefully enter all required information in the relevant fields and click “SAVE & CONTINUE.”
Candidates are personally responsible for ensuring that all information entered in the application form is correct. Once the application form has been submitted, it cannot be edited.
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
Candidates are required to upload the necessary documents as prescribed in the notice.
A live photograph must be uploaded according to the specifications given in Annexure-A.
The candidate’s signature must be uploaded with a maximum file size of 10 KB to 20 KB, with the prescribed height and width specifications.
A valid and genuine Category Certificate, wherever applicable, must also be uploaded in PDF format with a maximum size of 100 KB.
Similarly, valid qualification certificates required for the respective post must be uploaded in PDF format, with a maximum size of 100 KB.

Candidates are required to pay the application fee online after successfully completing the application form.
The notice states that the “Pay Now” link will be displayed after successful completion of the form. Candidates should ensure that the payment status is shown as “Submitted” on their dashboard.

JKSSB Application Form 2026: Do You Need a Printout?
No hard copy or printout of the filled application form is required to be submitted by candidates, except at the Document Verification (DV) stage for shortlisted candidates after the examination.
However, in-service candidates are required to submit a printout of the filled online application form along with the duly filled, signed and stamped certificate mentioned in the final paragraph of the application form through the proper channel (TPC).
Candidates must also include their Payee Name and Account Number while submitting payment representations to the concerned department or office.
