The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Haveli Poonch, has invited applications from eligible female candidates for engagement as Sangini (Anganwadi Worker) and Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper) in various Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Haveli, Poonch under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS).

Eligibility Criteria for Sangini (Anganwadi Worker)
Applicant must be a female resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
Age should be 18 to 37 years as on 01 January 2026.
Candidate must belong to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Educational qualification should be 10+2 (Higher Secondary).
Candidates with qualification above graduation are not eligible.
Merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.
In case no eligible candidate is available in the ward, candidates from adjoining or nearest wards may be considered subject to approval.
Preference
Additional weightage will be given to daughters of retired Anganwadi Workers/Helpers.
In case of a tie in merit, candidates with higher age will be preferred.
Eligibility Criteria for Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper)
Applicant must be a female resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
Age should be 18 to 37 years as on 01 January 2026.
Candidate should belong to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Minimum qualification is Matriculation (10th Pass).
Selection will be based on marks obtained in Class 10.
If no matriculate candidate is available, candidates with qualification not less than 8th standard may be considered.
Preference may be given to candidates from economically weaker households where income source is limited.

Marital Status
Married women will be considered first.
In the absence of eligible married candidates, unmarried women may also be considered.

How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit the completed application form along with all required documents to:

Near All India Radio Station, Poonch
Applications must be submitted during working hours before the last date.
Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will be rejected without any notice.
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Candidates must produce original documents along with the copies submitted in the application form. Verification will be conducted within one week after the last date for submission of applications.
