Job Recruitment in GMC Rajouri
The Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir has issued an advertisement inviting applications from eligible doctors for engagement as Tutor/Demonstrator in various disciplines. The appointments will be made purely on an Academic Arrangement basis.
The engagement will initially be for one year, which may be extended up to a maximum of three years based on satisfactory performance.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria :
Candidates must be domiciles/permanent residents of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Selection will be made according to the latest guidelines issued by the Health & Medical Education Department and National Medical Commission (NMC) eligibility criteria

Interested candidates must:
Fill the prescribed application form attached with the notification.
Attach self-attested copies of required documents.
Submit the application by hand or through registered post to the office of the Principal, GMC Rajouri.
Last Date for Submission:
Applications must reach the office on or before 03 March 2026 up to 04:00 PM
Salary Details :
For In-Service (PSC) Candidates
Salary will be paid as per their Last Pay Certificate (LPC).
They must obtain prior permission from the Administrative Department (Health & Medical Education) before applying.
For Non-PSC Candidates :
Candidates will receive consolidated pay equivalent to the minimum basic pay of a Medical Officer in the Health Department.
Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) will also be applicable as per rules.
No other financial benefits will be provided.

Date of Birth certificate (10th certificate/mark sheet).
MBBS mark sheets of all professional examinations.
MD/MS/DNB/MCh/DM qualification certificates (if applicable).
Attempt certificates of MBBS examinations.
MBBS degree and NMC/MCI or State Medical Council registration certificate.
Internship completion certificate.
Academic distinctions, medals, or scholarships (if any).
House Job/Junior Residency certificate.
FMGE certificate (for candidates with MBBS degree from outside India).
Professional publications in medical journals (if any).
NOC from Administrative Department (for in-service candidates)
Important Terms & Conditions :
The maximum tenure is three years, and no further extension will be granted.
Candidates who have already completed or left Demonstratorship midway in any discipline are not eligible to apply.
Selected candidates must submit an affidavit stating they will not leave the post before completion of the tenure.
Any doctor leaving the post must give one-month prior notice, otherwise one month’s salary must be deposited.
The number of vacancies may be modified or withdrawn by the department at any stage of the selection process
