Advertisement for engagement of faculty members on academic arrangement basis under S.O-364 of 2020 dated 27th of November,
2020, in Govt. Medical College, Rajouri.

Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates who are Domicile of J&K, UT and Doctors (Non PSC/ retired) for engagement on ”Academic Arrangement basis” vide S.O-364 of 2020 dated 27th of November, 2020, i.e. Jammu and Kashmir Medical and Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis), Rules, 2020 [these rules have replaced the jammu and Kashmir Medical & Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis) Rules, 2019 dated 10.01.2019], initially for a period of three year extendable up-to six years (One year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection /promotion is made on regular basis in accordance with rules of recruitment governing the respective posts, by the PSC/DPC whichever is earlier, in the below mentioned disciplines of Govt. Medical College, Rajouri :

Eligibility Criteria:-

The applying candidates should be eligible for the post applied for in terms of S.O-288 dated 18.08.2021 of Health and Medical Education Department.

Selection Criteria

The Selection of the candidates for the advertised post shall be made vide Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023.

The assessment criteria for selection for the advertised post is as per Annexures:-
1. Professor- Annexure-A (Copy enclosed)
2. Associate Professor-B (Copy enclosed)
3. Assistant Professor-C (Copy enclosed)

1) MBBS Degree and MCI Registration Certificate (in case of Medical candidates)/ Post graduation Degree in the concerned discipline from a University duly recognized by University Grants Commission in case of Non-Medical candidates.

2) Post-Graduation Degree and MCI Registration Certificate (in case of Medical candidates)/ Certificate of Doctorate from a University duly recognized by University Grants Commission in case of Non-Medical candidates.

3) Higher Qualification Certificate (DM/MCH/DNB super specialty)

4) Experience certificate issued by the Competent Authority/Head of the Institution.

5) Professional Publications, published in indexed/national journals, as prescribed.

6) Date of Birth Certificate.

7) Affidavit duly attested from Ist class Magistrate stating that doctor is not in active Govt. Services.

8) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K
