Applications are invited from candidates for the temporary position in an Adhoc Project entitled ‘Technological interventions and capacity building to promote entrepreneurship and enhance income in agricultural sector in outer Himalayas of Jammu region of Jammu & Kashmir (UT)’ (DBT) operational in the Division of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture,
SKUAST-Jammu as detailed below

Position : Young Professional

Age limit –35 years

Emolument : Rs 40,000/- (Fixed) (inclusive of Taxes)

Essential Qualifications :

M.Sc. (Agri.) Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Entomology/ Post Harvest Management with expertise in Field Survey

Eligible applicants can appear for a walk-in-interview on 06/03/2025 at 11.00 am at Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu.

No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.

Terms and conditions :

a) The engagement shall be purely on a temporary and contractual basis and likely to be extended only if the performance of candidate is satisfactory.

b) The candidate shall have no legal right to claim regularization/appointment in SKUAST-Jammu by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any further contractual engagement as the scheme is purely time bound, non-regular and co-terminus with the project.

c) The engagement shall automatically cease with termination of the project or if the performance of the selected candidate is not found satisfactory, whichever is earlier/applicable.

d) The University/Funding Agency reserves the right to withdraw advertised post at any stage, without assigning any reason thereof.

e) The candidate shall have to produce all original documents at the time of Interview.

f) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

g) Desirous candidates are advised to keep on visiting the university website for any update regarding change in date of interview or otherwise. No separate advertisement shall be issued for the same. h) The decision of Competent Authority, SKUAST-J shall be final and binding in all aspects.
