Job Recruitment in SKUAST Kashmir
Eligible candidates are invited for walk-in-interview on 26-12-2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the office chamber of Head, Division of Food Science and Technology, SKUAST-Kashmir for the temporary position of Project Research Scientist-I under the ICMR sponsored project titled “Production of bio-colors and bio-flavors from food waste, their encapsulation and utilization for the development of functional basil seed beverage.”
The position is purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project (Upto February 2026).
The candidates who fulfil the requisite qualification as indicated below should bring their brief biodata along with original
documents of all qualifications, on the day of the interview
Position : Project Research Scientist-I (01 No.)
Emoluments :
Rs. 56,000/- + 20% HRA per month
Essential Eligibility :
First Class Post Graduate Degree in Food Technology
or
Second Class Post Graduate Degree in Food Technology, with PhD
Desirable Eligibility :
B.Sc. in Agriculture and allied subjects or B.Tech. in Food Technology.
NET Qualified
Relevant desired qualification: Handling of Microbial Cultures
Relevant higher qualification: PhD in Food Technology/ PHM
No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
