Applications Invited for 21 ATVM Facilitator Posts in Jammu Division
The Northern Railway, Jammu Division has invited sealed applications from the General Public for the appointment of ATVM Facilitators for issuing unreserved railway tickets through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) at various railway stations across the Jammu Division.
The engagement is purely contractual and is not a permanent railway job.
Northern Railway ATVM Facilitator Recruitment 2026
The Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, Jammu, on behalf of the President of India, has issued the advertisement for engaging facilitators to operate ATVMs and assist passengers in obtaining unreserved tickets.
The engagement will initially be for a period of one year, which may be extended up to a maximum period of two years, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
The selected facilitators will not be entitled to facilities associated with regular Railway employees, including absorption in Railway service, regularisation, bonus or Railway pass facilities.
Total Vacancies
A total of 21 ATVM Facilitator positions are proposed to be engaged across 11 railway stations in Jammu Division.
The station-wise requirement is as follows:
PTKC (NSG-3): 2 Facilitators
PTK (NSG-4): 2 Facilitators
SINA (NSG-5): 2 Facilitators

Thus, applicants can apply for engagement at the specified ATVM locations as per the terms of the advertisement.
Nature of Engagement
The work involves issuing unreserved railway tickets through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) installed at the identified railway stations.
The agreement will initially remain valid for one year and may be extended up to two years.
The engagement is contractual in nature and does not provide any right to permanent employment with Indian Railways.
Refundable Security Deposit
Applicants are required to be prepared to deposit a refundable security amount.
₹50,000 for NSG-1 and NSG-2 category stations.
₹25,000 for other categories of stations.
The security amount is to be deposited in favour of the Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, Jammu, through a fixed deposit or demand draft issued from the applicant’s own account.
On completion or termination of the agreement, any pending dues, if applicable, will be adjusted from the security deposit and the remaining amount will be refunded.

The cost of the application form is Nil (Free).
