The Northern Railway, Jammu Division has invited sealed applications from the general public for the appointment of ATVM Facilitators to issue unreserved railway tickets through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) at various railway stations in the Jammu Division.

The engagement is purely contractual and is not a permanent railway job. The initial engagement will be for one year, which may be extended up to a maximum period of two years, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

A total of 11 ATVM Facilitators are to be engaged at various stations under Jammu Division.

The station-wise requirement is:

SINA: 2 Facilitators

MEX: 1 Facilitator

DZA: 1 Facilitator

BAHL: 2 Facilitators

ANT: 1 Facilitator

BDGM: 1 Facilitator

BRML: 2 Facilitators

SGDN: 1 Facilitator

Total: 11 Facilitator positions

The stations mentioned in the notice fall under NSG-5 and NSG-6 categories.

Nature and Duration of Engagement

The selected ATVM Facilitators will assist passengers in issuing unreserved railway tickets through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines.

The engagement will become effective from the date of actual commencement and will initially remain valid for one year. It can be extended up to a maximum of two years, as per the applicable terms and conditions.

Importantly, this engagement is not for permanent railway service. It does not provide facilities such as absorption into regular Railway service, regularisation of service, bonus, railway pass facilities or other benefits associated with permanent Railway employees.

Security Deposit for ATVM Facilitator

Applicants should be prepared to deposit a refundable security amount as specified in the notice.

The security deposit is:

Rs. 50,000 for NSG-1 and NSG-2 category stations.

Rs. 25,000 for other categories of stations.

The security amount has to be deposited in favour of the Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, Jammu, through a fixed deposit or demand draft issued from the applicant’s own account.

After completion or termination of the agreement, any pending dues may be adjusted from the security deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

Since the stations listed in this notice are NSG-5 and NSG-6, the applicable security amount for these locations is Rs. 25,000.
