Applications on plain papers are invited from eligible candidates of District Shopian for engagement of below mentioned posts in J&K Handicrafts, District Shopian under special Assistance to tribal Sub Plan 2017-18 (SCA to TSP) for imparting of training to tribal women purely on temporary basis for a period of 06 months.

Terms & Conditions:-

The post will be filled purely on temporary basis.

The engagement is terminable at any time without any notice/assigning any reason.

Since the engagement is purely on temporary basis, the candidates selected will have no claim for regular appointment or continuation of his/her services on the post after termination/expiry of the training centre.

The applicant should be a permanent resident of J&K State and a resident of distrct Shopian preferably locals.

Age as on 30.10.2017

Not below 18 years and not above 40 years in case of general category candidates.

43 years in case of SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC candidates.

42 years in case of Physically challenged Candidates.

Documents to be attached with the application (self attested)

Permanent Residence Certificate.

Date Of birth certificate.

Matric Pass Certificate

Experience certificate (if any) in the relevant craft.

The applications should reach this office by or before 10.11.2017 in person or through registered post.

The Practical test of the eligible applicants shall be conducted on 13.11.2017 at 11:00 AM in the office chamber of Assistant Director Handicrafts, Shopian Near District Hospital .

The applicants shall have to bring the necessary accessories viz Ari, piece of Cloth, woolen yarn etc. required for the Practical test .

Applications received after the cut off date shall not be entertained.

Mere submission of applications/essential qualification will not confer any right for interview call and selection.
