Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of TGT (Computer Science) for engagement in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Aglar Distt. Shopian (J&K-UT) purely on contract basis for the Session 2024-25 or till the joining of regular incumbent whichever is earlier.

The interested candidates may apply personally in prescribed application form obtaining from the vidyalaya office during working hours from 16.08.2024 to 21.08.2024. Intimation to the shortlisted candidates after scrutiny of application forms wit be given through e-mail id/phone number on 22.08.2024 and interview of shortlisted candidates will be conducted on 23.08.2024 in the office of Principal JNV Aglar, Shopian. The essential qualification stands as under:

Essential Qualification :

1. BCA from a recognized university OR Graduation in Computer Science from a recognized University. (provided that the Computer Science Subject must be studied in all years as main subject) OR BE/B Tech (Computer Science/Information Technology) from a recognized University)

2. B.Ed Degree

3. Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose (Relaxation in CTET ).

Desirable Competence to teach through English& Hindi/other regional language.

Remuneration : Rs. 40625.00 per month

Note : Non B.Ed candidates may also a poly along with B.Ed candidates. However, the Non B.Ed candidates will be considered only in case on non-availability of B.Ed candidates.

Being vidyalaya residential in nature makes it mandatory to attend residential school duties besides their Routine duties. Boarding and lodging will be provided as per the availability in the JNV & as per NVS norms.
