Recruitment in J&K Legal Services Authority Rajouri
In pursuance to communication No: JKLSA/LS/22/2021/1570-72 dated. 25.08.2025 and subsequent directions of the Hon’ble Executive Chairman, J&K Legal Services Authority, applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) in District Rajouri, strictly in accordance with the Para Legal Volunteers Scheme( Revised).
The detailed procedure and conditions are given as follows:
Name of the District : Rajouri District
No. of Position : 11
Eligibility Categories:
Applications are invited from the following categories of person:
1. Teachers ( including retired teachers)
2. Retired Government Servants and Senior Citizens
3. MSW students and teachers.
4. Anganwadi Workers.
5. Doctors/ Physicians
6. Students and Law Students (Till enrolment as advocated)
7. Members of service-oriented NGOs/Clubs(non-political)
8. Women Neighborhood Groups/Self Help Groups ( including marginalized/ vulnerable groups)
9. Educated prisoners with good conduct serving long-term sentences.
10. Any other persons deemed fit by DLSA/TLSC.
Terms of Engagement:
1. The Work of PLVs does not carry any salary/remuneration/wages.
2. Only honorarium, as fixed by J&K Legal Services Authority from time to time, shall be payable.
Mode of Selection:
1. Applications shall be scrutinized and shortlisted by the Selection Committee.
2. Preferences shall be given to women candidates.
3. Adequate representation shall be ensured for SC/ST, minorities, and other backward classes.
4. Shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview/interaction, the date of which will be notified separately.

1. Interested candidates may submit their applications in the prescribed format available at the office of DLSA Rajouri.
2. The application should clearly mentioned the willingness/ preference to work at District/Taluk/Village Level.
3. Completed applications must be submitted in person/by post at the office of the Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajouri ( District Court Complex Rajouri).
