The interested and eligible candidates are invited for walk-in-interview to be held on 19-08-2025 from 11 AM to 1:00 PM in the Department of Botany, University of Kashmir, Srinagar for filling up of one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the research project entitled “Long term monitoring of biodiversity and ecosystem processes in Indian grasslands” sponsored by
MoEF & CC, Government of India under the LTEO programme through National Centre for Biological sciences, Bangalore”. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The candidates are requested to bring original certificates and other documents indicating qualification, age, percentage of marks and experience in the relevant field (if any) on the day of interview.
No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview. Candidates with prior experience of having worked in research projects would be preferred.
The selected candidate is supposed to conduct field studies at the LTEO sites outside J&K also.

Eligibility :
M.Sc. Botany/Plant Sciences. The NET qualified candidates with experience of working in the projects would be preferred.

2. The applicants should be physically and mentally fit to undertake field surveys in high elevation mountainous regions.
3. The staff engaged in the project shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the funding agency/University of Kashmir.
