Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or its equivalent on grading scale.
Pay : Consolidated Rs. 31840/per month
Age limit : As per UT J&K and University Rules.
Terms and Conditions :
1. The post is purely on contractual basis for a period of 1 year or till the financial support for this post is available from the Ministry of Health Family Welfare (MoHFW), GoI, New Delhi, whichever is earlier. However, the contractual appointment can be extended up to three years on year-to-year basis subject to the performance of the candidate.
2. Eligible candidates who are domiciles of UT of Jammu and Kashmir may apply in the PRESCRIBED APPLICATION FORM that can be downloaded from PRC website: www.prcku.uok.edu.in and University of Kashmir Website: www.kashmiruniversity.net, and
submitted along with necessary testimonials in the office of Coordinator Population Research Centre, University of Kashmir-190006 personally or by speed post only. No applications sent through Email/Online mode will be considered.
3. Those candidates who have already applied for this post vide Advertisement No: KU/PRC/Advt-2/2023, dated: 22.09.2023 need not to apply afresh against this advertisement.
4. All enclosures attached with the Application Form should be self-attested and the candidates shall have to produce the original documents relating to their age, qualifications, experience, fitness and other claims at the time of interview.
5. Applications not fulfilling the eligibility conditions or not accompanied by necessary valid supporting documents shall be rejected without any communication with applicant.
6. The selected candidate will not have any claim for the regular appointment either in PRC or in University of Kashmir, Srinagar. The University of Kashmir/PRC has no liability for either regularizing the services or offer regular appointment to the selected candidate.
7. The University/PRC reserves its right to limit the number of candidates to be called for Interview/written test and shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the date of interview or any screening test through email/phone only and the list of shortlisted
candidates will be uploaded on PRC website.
8. The University/PRC reserves the right not to fill up the post advertised, if circumstances so warrant, without assigning any reason thereof. The selection procedure will be at the discretion of the competent authority of the University of Kashmir/PRC.
9. The University of Kashmir/PRC shall verify the antecedents of all documents of the candidates submitted at any time of appointment or during the tenure of service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedents/background and has suppressed the said information, his/her services shall be terminated forthwith and the action shall be taken as warranted under rules.
10. Impersonation or submission of false/fabricated/tampered documents or making incorrect/ false statements by a candidate, will, render him/her liable for criminal prosecution.
11. The selected candidate will have to produce a Medical Certificate from the concerned District Health Society with regards to his/her physical/medical fitness.
12. Candidates are advised to regularly check University/PRC website for any corrigendum/ addendum pertaining to this advertisement and latest updates/important instructions, released by the PRC from time to time. No separate intimation in this regard shall be given.
13. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear in an interview/written/skill test at the University Campus , for which no TA/DA will be paid.
