Advertisement for recruitment under Phase-VI for Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis) and Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas) against left-out vacancies as on 31st March 2026 in various Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Sunderbani.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) from eligible female candidates for engagement as Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis) and Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas) on an honorarium basis.

Eligibility Criteria
A. Anganwadi Worker (Sangini)
Candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Only women candidates aged 18 to 37 years as on 01/01/2026 are eligible.
Candidate must be a resident of the electoral ward (Panch Ward) where the Anganwadi Centre is situated.
Name in the valid voter list of the concerned Panch Ward shall be treated as proof of residence.
If the candidate’s name appears in the voter list along with her parents, she must produce an Unmarried Certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar.
Minimum qualification: 10+2.
Maximum qualification: Graduation.
If no eligible 10+2 candidate is available in the concerned ward, a 10+2 qualified candidate from the adjoining ward may be considered with prior approval of the Mission Director, Mission POSHAN J&K.
If no suitable candidate is available in the adjoining ward, candidates from the nearest ward within the Panchayat/Municipal Committee may be considered with approval of the Mission Director.
Selection will be made strictly on the basis of 10+2 marks.
In case of a tie in merit, the older candidate will be given preference.
Candidates possessing qualification higher than Graduation are not eligible.
B. Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika)
Selection shall be restricted to the electoral Panch Ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Only women candidates aged 18 to 37 years as on 01/01/2026 are eligible.
Candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Minimum qualification: Matriculation.
If no Matriculate candidate is available, candidates having qualification not less than 8th Standard may be considered.
Selection shall be purely on the basis of 10th class marks among married women candidates.
If no married candidate is available, unmarried candidates may be considered.
Eligible candidates belonging to the family of retiring Anganwadi Workers/Helpers will receive additional 2% weightage.
