Filling up of the post of Driver (District Cadre).
Pay Level-2 (19900-63200)
Offline application are invited on the prescribed format, (Annexure A) attached to this advertisement Notice from the eligible candidates of UT of J&K for filling up vacancy of one (01) post of Driver in the pay Level-2 (19900-63200).

1. Eligibility :
i) The candidate should be resident of UT of J&K possessing a domicile certificate in terms of Notification issued by the General Administration Department of UT of J &K vide S.O. 166 dated 18.05.2020.
However, the candidate under SC category can apply irrespective of their place of residence in UT of J&K provided they are the domicile of UT of J &K.
ii) A candidate must have passed 10th (Matric) examination from any recognized Board. In addition to other requisite qualifications, the candidate must possess a valid driving license (LMV/HMV) and shall produce a Medical Certificate to the effect that the candidate is fit to drive the vehicle. iv.) Application form shall be supported with the self-attested copies of the following documents
a) Qualification/Marks Certificate
b) Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculate)
c) Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority
d) Category Certificate (if any)
e) Driving Licence (LMV/HMV)
f) Medical Certificate to the effect that the candidate is fit to drive vehicle.
2. Date of commencement for submission of offline application forms 21.11.2024
3. The duly filled application form along with requisite documents shall reach this office by or before 11.12.2024 which shall be the last date for Submission of application forms. Application Forms submitted other than the offline mode shall not be accepted.
A candidate shall have to deposit fee of Rs. 300/- (three Hundred) in the shape of Demand Draft from J&K Bank Ltd. in favour of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Budgam.
4. Criteria for the past of Driver :-
a The candidates must possess Matriculate form a recognized School/Board.
b. The candidates should have valid driving licence with LMV/HMV endorsement.
c. Minimum and maximum age shall be the same as prescribed by the government in terms of the Civil Services Regulations.
d. The candidates should be domicile of UT of J&K possessing a Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned competent authority.
e. The candidates, who have applied for the post of Driver, shall have to undergo the written test to determining the General Knowledge and the Traffic Rules .On the basis of merit obtained in the written test, the candidate shall be called for determine the driving skill/test in the ratio of 1:5.
f. The person(S) who is/or already engaged on adhoc or daily wage basis in the subordinate Courts shall be eligible to apply respective of the minimum and maximum stands of age, and they shall be deemed to be given relaxation in the minimum and maximum stands of age.
g. In-service candidates can route their application forms through proper channel.
h. Wide publicity shall be given through print and electronic media. official website (https://budgam.dcourts.gov.in/notice-category/recruitments/) about the venue, dates of the written/driving skill tests for the information of the eligible candidates.
i. No separate call letter shall be issued to the candidates for the written/Driving test. Candidates in their own interest are requested to carefully read the terms & conditions of the Advertisement Notice and remain in touch with this office for any in formation.
