Eligible and Interested candidates may appear in the Walk-in Interview for engagement of one (01) Research Assistant under the ICSSR-sponsored research project entitled “Empowering Kashmiri Women Farmers: A Holistic, Women-Led Approach to Mastitis-Free Dairy Farming.” with duly filled application form in prescribed Format, a self-attested copy of all credentials along with the original testaments.

Position : Research Assistant – 01

Remuneration : Rs. 37,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Duration : Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project

Date of Interview : 11-11-2026

Essential Qualification :

• Post-Graduation in Social Sciences from a recognized University/Institution with minimum 55% marks with
NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience :
• Post-Graduation in Economics/Agriculture Economics, Veterinary Extension & Dairy Economics.

Research experience in rural development, social mobilization, gender studies, agricultural/dairy extension, or allied areas.

Terms and Conditions :

• The engaged staff shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the sponsoring agency/University.

• The position of Research Assistant is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis, co-terminus with the project.
