A girl of BA Part IInd committed suicide by jumping before the Himgri Express which was on its way to Jammu this afternoon near Palli Railway track in Kathua district.
The girl has been identified as Seema Devi daughter of Bua Datta of village Palli. The cause of her extreme step was not known. The girl committed suicide at such a time when the family was solemnizing the marriage ceremony of her cousin. The dead body was shifted by police to DH Kathua where after conducting the postmortem it was kept in mortuary as family which is pre-occupied in marriage ceremony did not receive it today.
