Jammu: 75 animals killed in terrible blaze

At least 75 animals were killed when a terrible fire engulfed two live stock sheds in Ramnoo area of Jammu’s Kishtwar district late night yesterday.

Sources said that at around 2am  firewood which was burning outside the house spreaded to grass after which the wind carried the ignited grass blades to the nearby cow and sheep sheds in Dachan village of Kishtwar, which turned into massive fire and burnt to death all the cows and sheeps in the sheds.

The family members came to know about the blaze incident at around 4:30am in the morning but sadly till then the devastating fire charred to death all their live stock.

The sheds belonged to Lala chopan S/o Maqbool chapan R/o Ramnoo village of Kishtwar.
