J&K: Body of non-local labourer found dead
Police on Monday recovered a body of a non-local labourer from a village in Banihal town of Ramban district.
The report said that some locals spotted the body in Shiran village Tehsil Khari of Banihal today and informed the police station concerned accordingly.
A police team after receiving the information about the incident, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body.
The body of the deceased was shifted to Banihal hospital for medco legal formalities including the autopsy.
The deceased has been as Surjeet Das son of S/O Santoo Das, a resident of Hoogly area of West Bengal.
Surjeet, was working as a labourer in the village district and there was no visible injury on his body, the officer said.
The police has launched a probe to ascertain the actual cause of death
