Kashmir Files bags 7 nominations at Filmfare

‘The Kashmir Files’ has bagged seven nominations at the Filmfare Awards this year, prompting mixed responses from the people on social media platforms.

The nominations include Best Film, Best Director (Vivek Agnihotri), Best Actor in a Lead Role (Anupam Kher), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Darshan Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty), Best Screenplay (Vivek Agnihotri), and Best Editing (Shankh Rajyadhaksha).

The nominations have sparked mixed reactions among people on social media platforms.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 27 at Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai. The film has garnered immense response from audiences across India and has also won several national film awards. ‘The Kashmir Files’ was produced by Zee Studios, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and ‘I am Buddha’ Production.

In addition, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ starring Alia Bhatt has received ten nominations, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female), Best Music Album, and Best Debut (Male). Other highly nominated films this year include ‘Badhaai Do’ and ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’.
