Kulgam Encounter: Two civilians, armyman injured, operation on

Two civilians and an army trooper were injured in an ongoing encounter at Batpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday, officials said.

In a tweet Kashmir Police Zone wrote, ” 01 Army soldier & 02 civilians got injured in the ongoing encounter. All the 03 injured shifted to hospital for treatment. Operation going on. Further details shall follow,”.

Kulgam Encounter: 01 militant killed, Search operation on

One militant has been killed in an encounter at Batpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.

Official sources told , that one militant has been killed in an encounter, however identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier Two civilians and a army soldier were also injured in the gunfight, all of them are stated to be stable.

Reports reaching that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Batpora.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.(GNS)
