PM Modi Visit to Udhampur – Traffic Advisory

TRAFFIC ADVISORY In view of WIP visit at Modi Ground Udhampur on 12-04-2024 and for the convenience of General Public and people who are attending the rally at Modi Ground Udhampur, Traffic NHW Ramban issues the following Traffic Advisory

• All HMVs/LMVs operators are requested to strictly follow the Traffic Advisory issued from Traffic Headquarters J&K Jammu.

• No commercial Good HMVs will ply on NH-44 (Jammu-Srinagar and vice-versa) after 12:00 pm today i.e. on 11-04-2024 for their to and fro journey. All General Passenger vehicles shall be diverted from District Police Naka Mand to Jakheni via old Udhampur Town road and vice-versa from 11-04- 2024

• On 12-04-2024, all Jammu/ Reasi side Rally bond busses shall also adopt the same route i.e. District Police Naka Mand to Jakheni via old Udhampur Town to Gole Mela- Bal-lain- Up tube -deboarding of passengers – U-Turn and will be parked from Gole Mela to Sangoor.

• All Kashmir/DKR rally-bound vehicle will adopt Jhakheni -Gole Mela- UP tube -Ballian -deboarding of passengers – designated parking slots in the same tube.

• on 12-04-2024, route of HMVs/LMVs heading for rally shall adopt the following route- Jammu-Police Naka Flata-Birma Bridge-Kingil Cut-U-Turrn-Kingil village Road-Ballian -deboarding-parked in designated parking slots.

• People are requested to maintain traffic discipline and cooperate with Traffic Police while traffic regulation and parking their vehicles in designated slots.

• People are requested to avoid unnecessary haltage of their vehicles at old Udhampur route — Ballian to Gole Mela -Jakheni-Dhar Road.

• General Public Of Udhampur is requested to use old interior routes for their onward journey to Jammu/ Srinagar and strictly avoid NH-44. Cooperation is solicited from all the respected citizens.
