CBSE Revaluation 2026 Form Open for Class 10, 12; Apply Online Till June 6
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday opened the online portal for Class 12 students to apply for verification of issues found in scanned copies of their evaluated answer books and for re-evaluation of answers. The facility, available only to students who have already obtained scanned copies of their answer books, will remain open until midnight on June 6.Aadhaar verification has been introduced as a mandatory security measure in the latest registration process, CBSE announced.
In cases where children do not possess an Aadhaar number, the notice said, the Aadhaar details of a parent, relative, or legal guardian may be used instead. However, it is mandatory that the name, date of birth, and gender entered in the system must correspond exactly to the individual whose Aadhaar number is being provided.
How to apply for re-evaluation?
Announcing the launch of the portal, CBSE said students can log in through their accounts on the board’s website and choose either or both services based on their requirements. The board has clarified that candidates will be required to enter an Aadhaar number while accessing the portal.
In cases where a student’s own Aadhaar is unavailable, the Aadhaar name, date of birth and gender entered in the application must correspond to the person whose Aadhaar number is being used.
The board said students can seek rectification of issues identified in scanned copies of answer books or request re-evaluation of specific answers if they are not satisfied with the assessment.

CBSE will examine the requests and communicate the outcome after the process is completed. No offline applications will be accepted, and requests submitted after the prescribed deadline will not be considered, the board said. The fee for verification of issues in scanned answer books has been fixed at Rs 100 per answer book, while re-evaluation will cost Rs 25 per question. Payments can be made through UPI, credit cards, debit cards or net banking.
Verification issues :
Students can apply for the resolution of issues observed in the scanned copies of their evaluated answer books, including:
Missing pages
Missing supplementary sheets
Missing maps or graphs
Blurred pages
Incorrect answer book uploaded
Evaluation carried out against a different question paper set
CBSE said students may select multiple issues and subjects within a single application. However, only one application for verification of issues will be allowed.The board has advised candidates to ensure all requests are included before clicking the “Freeze and Proceed to Payment” option, as details cannot be modified afterward. Applications will be considered submitted only after successful online payment.
What are the re-evaluation rules
Students may also apply for re-evaluation of one or more questions across multiple subjects by providing details such as question numbers and page numbers.
CBSE said all intended requests must be included before final submission, as only one re-evaluation application will be permitted.

Once the application is frozen and payment is initiated, no edits can be made.
The board added that re-evaluation requests will be processed only after successful online payment through the portal.
